I’m still not able to find my race photos, it’s getting frustrating. I was really looking forward to seeing them, but so far, I haven’t had any luck tracking them down...

Site worked okay overall. My finish time looked a bit off vs my watch, but results posted fast. Not bad, just wish the timing felt a little more exact.

The medal feels really solid and looks nice, and the shirt fits well overall. Mine was maybe just a little snug, though, did anyone else have the same issue?

I ran Colfax last year and really liked seeing how many charity partners were part of it. It felt like my entry was doing a little more than just paying for the race, which was nice. The course was fun and the energy was solid, but it did get a bit crowded in spots. Still, Id definitely consider doing it again.

I volunteered with Run Colfax and had a good time. The people helping us were friendly and quick to answer questions, even when things got a little busy. The only small downside was that some of the info felt a bit last minute, so I had to double-check a few things... but everyone was kind and it all worked out in the end. Solid 4 stars from me...

I get that things can get busy, but the emails came way too late to be useful. A basic heads-up in a reasonable amount of time feels like the least customers should be able to expect.

The packet pickup line was long and kind of confusing, haha. The staff did try to help, which I appreciated, but the signs weren’t very clear, so it took way longer than it probably needed to

The awards are definitely a cool touch and make the site look more impressive at first glance. That said, my actual experience using it was just okay, nothing really stood out beyond that. If you’re checking it out, I’d say don’t judge it by the awards alone. Take a little time to look around and see if it actually fits what you need.

The traffic control was good, and I felt safe enough the whole time. The little things, like clear directions and someone keeping an eye on the flow of cars, made a noticeable difference.

Some of the stops had water available, which was nice, but a few of the others felt kind of slow. It wasn’t bad overall, just one of those things where parts of it worked better than the rest

I ran the race i was impressed with how they handled the bathrooms. There were plenty of porta potties near the start and even along the course, so it didn’t feel stressful or chaotic. The lines moved faster than I expected too, which is a big deal when you’re already nervous before a run. Everything was easy to spot, and the whole setup just felt well thought out. No complaints here.

I signed up for the race on runcolfax.org and it went through fine, but the whole process felt a little clunky tbh. I had to click around more than I expected, and some of the info wasn’t super clear at first. I did get my confirmation in the end, so it wasn’t a big deal, just feels like it could be a bit easier lol.

Am I the only one who’s had a frustrating time with Pacer support? I reached out with a question about pacing, and the replies came way too late to be useful. Even when they did respond, I didn’t really get any helpful answers. Disappointing.

Just a heads up for anyone thinking about running Colfax: don’t let the crowd size or busy start area scare you off. I ran it this year and had a really smooth experience. Packet pickup was easy, the signs were clear, and the volunteers were super friendly. The water stops were right where I needed them, and I never felt lost or confused on the course. The start area was definitely busy, but they handled it better than I expected. Overall, it was a really solid race day, and I’d absolutely do it again.

The finish festival was a good time after the race. I found my group in maybe 5 or 10 minutes, the music was decent, and the beer line moved way faster than I thought it would.
The only downside was that the area filled up quickly, probably within the first half hour or so, and a few signs could’ve been clearer. Still, I had fun overall and I’d definitely do it again

I really liked the crowd at Run Colfax. It felt like people were out there on purpose right when you needed them most, like they somehow knew which parts of the course would start messing with your head. There were cheers almost the whole way, even in spots where I figured nobody would bother showing up. The funny signs, kids handing out high fives, and just the overall energy helped a lot when I was starting to fade. It really felt like the city showed up for the runners...

I did the relay with a few friends and my first reaction was that it felt disorganized. The course itself was fun, but the team info and exchange points were confusing, and some of the emails showed up way too late. For what it cost, I expected things to be a lot smoother.

The course had a few nice parts and I did enjoy some of it, but the signs were confusing. There were a couple spots where I wasn’t totally sure what I was supposed to do next or which way to go, which got annoying fast. A few of the turns also felt crowded and kind of messy. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but I definitely expected it to be more organized.

Taking the light rail made getting there easy, which was nice. Parking was a little crowded when we arrived, but we still managed to find a spot after a bit. Overall it worked out fine, though I feel like if we had gotten there later...

I think it was worth it for me. I can’t remember if I got it a few weeks ago or closer to a month ago, time has been kind of a blur, but I’ve been happy with it so far. It’s done what I needed it to do, and I don’t really have any regrets about buying it.
